Event Day Details

Save the date - RIDE Day is October 3, 2026!

This year you'll be riding to help save a program whose funding has come to an end: the Civic Hub. Civic Hub is currently home to 65 grassroots groups who notice a gap and think: there's got to be a better way. From Food Not Bombs and Willow River Centre. To FairVote WR and the African Women's Alliance.

We have less than 4 weeks to rally our community and raise $20,000 to keep Civic Hub open until the end of 2026 while we work on finding longer-term support.

Ride. Walk. Volunteer. Donate. Every kilometre you walk or bike. Every dollar you raise. Every person you share this with to help spread the word. It all helps. Thank you for riding with us again this year.

What to Bring

A few common sense suggestions:

  • A cell phone for emergencies (recommended but not required)
  • Your bike and helmet or walking shoes
  • Extra snacks if you have allergies or food sensitivities
  • Your own water bottle
  • Warm layers with moisture-repelling clothing. Early October weather can be cool, with rain and wind. The weather might also be gorgeous and sunny. So be sure to keep your eye on the forecast.
  • A passion for the charity you're fundraising for!
