About COMPASS Refugee Centre

COMPASS + YOU = people getting the chance to have life beyond refuge.

RIDE or WALK with COMPASS Refugee Centre

For refugee claimants, the Canadian refugee system is next to impossible to understand and navigate on their own. With few resources and many language barriers, they also struggle to access basic needs like housing and food, and to find adequate employment. We have helped thousands of people over the years, made possible because of generous donors like you.

The funds you raise for COMPASS will be used to support programs that remove barriers to justice and protection, help to meet basic needs, and create new communities of support for people who have lost everything.

COMPASS + YOU = people getting the chance to have life beyond refuge.

That's a pretty big impact your fundraising will have! THANK YOU!!

What to Bring

A few common sense suggestions:

  • A cell phone for emergencies (recommended but not required)
  • Your bike and helmet or walking shoes
  • Extra snacks if you have allergies or food sensitivities
  • Your own water bottle
  • Warm layers with moisture-repelling clothing. Early October weather can be cool, with rain and wind. The weather might also be gorgeous and sunny. So be sure to keep your eye on the forecast.
  • A passion for the charity you're fundraising for!
